The best thing is location - just off the main streets and the beach. The rooms are airy with comfortable bed and the staff are attentive. It offers excellent services.

The hotel was in a marvellous location close to restaurants, theatres, the Towner gallery and the seafront and centre, we saw a theatre and a gallery near the place. Our stay was wonderful, and the entire stuff where efficient. Full English breakfast was a nice touch.

Although everything was very good, some of the staff were not particularly helpful.

The location was unbeatable, very close to the seafront with easy access to shopping centres and interesting independent shops. The room was great value and well-appointed, with magnificent views of the sea and Devonshire park.

Overall it was cosy with tea and coffee.

We had free parking with a permit that the owner gave us; I was very pleased with that. The rooms were very clean, cosy, quiet and restful and the fittings were tasteful and luxurious. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and so much! A great stay and I will definately be back.

Clean, modern guest house, reasonably priced. Good location for both town & seafront. Found breakfast to be just ok but it was prepared 'on the spot' unlike many other establishments where buffet food has sat for a while. In summary was neither disappointed or overly impressed with this establishment.

Single room was extremely small & was difficult to manoeuvre in, especially shower/bathroom. Nicely decorated though & kept immaculately clean.

We were given parking permits so that we could enjoy free parking right outside the hotel which was a bonus.

Lovely comfortable beds, good shower and bathroom. The breakfast was very good and the dining room staff excellent. The hotel is furnished tastefully.

My husband and I have travelled all over the world and stayed in numerous hotels, but we have never encountered a more complicated tv! In the end we gave up trying to get it to work! Also it would be helpful if the times for Breakfast were available in the room. After a long journey it is not always possible to take in all the information given to you on arrival.
